Girl Scout Silver Award: Ashley’s Musical Therapy Cart

Ashley, a Girl Scout Senior from Troop 40537, presented her Musical Therapy Cart to the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside in September 2018. The project earned Ashley the Girl Scout Silver Award, which is the second highest award recognition that can be acquired by a Girl Scout. 

Girl Scout Troop Gives Back

A Junior Girl Scout Troop from Kearny is working on earning their Bronze Award. In this photos captured below, the girls delivered food they collected from their neighbors for the newly established food pantry in town. They collected so much food there was need to get more shelving for the pantry!

Julie Averbach Named Young Woman of Distinction by GSUSA

  We are so excited to announce that Julie Averbach, an outstanding Girl Scout from Short Hills, NJ, has been recognized as a 2016 National Young Woman of Distinction by Girl Scouts of the USA. This is an incredible accomplishment, as each year GSUSA chooses only ten girls nationally to receive this award!
